About Us

Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family

Who we are

Here's the deal, Epiphany cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Epiphany is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

Where we come from

Epiphany was started in June 2020 by the leading of the Lord. Epiphany Cathedral NY is the mission dream of our pastor, Bishop Wayne Daniels, Jr.

Due to COVID-19 and shutdowns, we lost our location and were unable to continue our ministry work. After a 1-year sabbatical, Bishop felt the tug of God leading him back into full-time pastoral ministry. Bishop previously pastored The City Church, a church plant in central Missouri for almost 7 years.

Where we're headed

What's the bottom line? More than ever, Epiphany is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.

What this means for you

What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you're always welcome at Epiphany. We're saving a seat for you. Wherever you're at in your faith journey, you'll always be accepted as part of the Epiphany family.

Christian Orthodoxy is evangelical, but not Protestant. It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman. It isn’t non-denominational, it’s pre-denominational. It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost 2,000 years ago.
